Day 1: Begin of Tour Denpasar (Bali) - Sanur
Sanur BeachUpon arrival at the Ngurah Rai Airport of Bali meet your personal guide and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free st your leisure. Stay at the hotel or take a walk at the beach. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. Overnight in Sanur.
Day 2: Sanur - Lovina (B/L)
Macaque with BananaMeet your guide in the lobby and start your round trip with a visit to Pura Taman Ayun in Mengwi. Continue to famous Tanah Lot just off the west coast. The temple was build on a rugged rock in the ocean. It is only accessible during low tide. Afterwards drive to Alas Kedaton where hundreds of monkeys roam about in this forest. Proceed to Lovina through Pupuan, Seririt and the sulfurous "Air Panas" Hot Springs at Banjar out west.
Day 3: Lovina - Ubud (B/L)
Munduk WaterfallStart with an early breakfast and leave the north coast behind. On your way to Ubud you will visit several of the beautiful waterfalls of Bali. For example the Banyumala Twin Waterfalls near the lakes Buyan and Tamblingan. You have to walk down a narrow trail to find the hidden beauty of the two waterfalls. Next up are the sacred waters of Aling Aling waterfall. Maybe the most beautiful waterfalls of Bali are the Sekumpu and Fiju waterfalls. It takes approximately one hour of trekking to reach them. You will have to climb 500 steps and cross a small river to reach the pool beneath the waterfall. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 4: Ubud (B/D)
Tirta Empul Bathing PlaceBreakfast at the hotel. Start the morning program with a visit to the Elephant Cave Goa Gajah dating back to the 11th century. Later drive to Tampaksiring and Tirta Empul. According to a local legend, the holy water of the well has healing qualities. Continue to the highland of Kintamani to see a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Batur. Visit the Kehen temple in Bangli after lunch. In the evening, traditional Balinese dance performance in Ubud.
Day 5: Ubud - Sanur (B/L)
Balinese dishesBreakfast at the resort. In the morning transfer to the cooking school in Ubud. Today starts with a Balinese cooking class. You will learn more about typical ingredients and cook local dishes like Chicken Curry, Gado Gado, Sambal, or Sago pudding. Lunch at the school. Afterwards transfer to Sanur. The afternoon is free at your leisure. Overnight in Sanur.
Day 6: Sanur - Nusa Penida - Sanur (B)
Kelingking Beach Nusa PenidaBreakfast at the hotel. Today starts early with a snorkeling trip to Nusa Penida island. Pick up at the resort in the morning and transfer to Tanjung Benoa. The boat ride across the Badung Strait will take approximately 40 minutes. First stop is at Manta Point. During the summer months, the small bay is often visited by majestic manta rays. You can take your time looking for big fish or explore the reef. Back on the boat, a light snack will be offered on the way to Tajopakeh Point. The second snorkeling spot of the day is known for some drift at the shallow reef with beautiful corals and reef fish. Go ashore at the village and start the exploration of the island's most well known view points. Broken Beach and Kelingking Beach. Lunchbox on the way. Return to the boat after the visit. Overnight in Sanur.
Day 7: Sanur (B/D)
Jukungs on a Bali BeachBreakfast at the hotel. The morning is free at leisure. Later start for an exploration of the southern peninsula Bukit. Meet your personal guide in die afternoon and start the tour with a visit of Garuda Vishnu Kencana Park, dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu and his mount Garuda. The project envisions a 23m high statue of the god riding the giant bird. The area is also used as an event venue for concerts and shows. Move on to the Temple Pura Luhur Uluwatu which was build high on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Local beliefs say the rock is to be part of Dewi Danu's petrified barque. The temple is dedicated to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in his manifestation as Rudra. Look out for the monkeys that declared the temple their home. Have a sunset dinner at Jimbaran beach. Overnight in Kuta.
Day 8: Sanur - End of Tour Denpasar (Bali) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. The day is free at your leisure until airport transfer.
