Day 1: Begin of Tour Labuan Bajo (Flores) - Ruteng (L/D)
Upon arrival meet and greet by your local guide at Labuan Bajo airport then drive to Ruteng. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight at simple hotel.
Day 2: Ruteng - Denge (B/L/D)
Lingko Randang, FloresEarly morning after breakfast depart to discover southern part of Manggarai. First visit is Golo Cara village, the best place to see ricefields in web-spider form. Proceed to Todo traditional village to begin soft trekking in the rice terrace and enjoy the beautiful landscape near Narang village, where lunch will be provided at a local family house. Afternoon drive through the southern coastal to Dintor and Denge with several stops according to local happenings. Dinner and overnight at a family house.
Day 3: Denge - Wae Rebo (B/L/D)
Men of Wae ReboAfter light breakfast start 4 hours trekking to Wae Rebo, an old Manggaraian village situated in pleasant and isolated mountain scenery. The hike is definitely worth the effort: the dense rain forest along the narrow path to Wae Rebo is one of a stunning biological diversity. Not only does it host interesting vegetation, including orchids, palms, and different ferns, but also an impressive population of singing birds. The village offers a unique opportunity to see authentic Manggarai housing and to experience the everyday life of the local community. In the village of Wae Rebo, you can see 'mbaru niang' – traditional, circular cone-shaped houses with very unique architecture. Nowadays, it is still a place to hold meetings, rituals and Sunday-morning prayers together. You will sleep on the mattresses in the 'mbaru niang' and get a taste of how life used to be when the extended families still lived their lives under one roof.
Day 4: Wae Rebo - Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)
Wae ReboAfter breakfast then trekking down to Denge village. Lunch enroute. Continue drive to Labuan Bajo with several stops according to local happenings. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)
Komodo Dragon on RincaBreakfast at hotel. Transfer to the pier of Labuan Bajo then by a local boat crossing to Rinca island for two hours. Upon arrival at Rinca island starts trekking for about 2 hours, the best opportunity to see dragons and their prey, passes the dragon nests and out into the sunshine across an exposed savannah that is studded with lontar palms and a permanent waterhole in Waeweso. Return to your boat and proceed to Bidadari island for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing. Afternoon back to Labuan Bajo. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Labuan Bajo - End of Tour Labuan Bajo (Flores) (B)
After breakfast transfer to the airport for catching flight to your next destination.

Important information for traveler: Outside of highly touristic regions like Bali there is only a limited touristic infrastructure available. Regular flight connections, restaurants and hotels (all classes from simple to high end) are limited. Flight cancellations and delays are quite common. Please don't expect amenities like warm water, air-conditioning and even comfortable beds at all hotels and homestays during the round trip. This applies especially outside of bigger cities.
