Day 1: Begin of Tour Jakarta (Java) - Carita/Anyer
Pickup from airport or hotel in Jakarta for 2 hours drive to Carita Beach in West Java. The famous beach resort is a popular get away for Jakartans during weekends and holidays. Rest of the day free at leisure.
Day 2: Carita/Anyer - Peucang Island/Ujung Kulon (B/L/D)
After breakfast, boarding the motor boat heading for Ujung Kulon. With a little luck you may see dolphins escorting the boat. Lunch box on board. Arrive at Peucang Island at Ujung Kulon National Park inthe afternoon. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach, swimming or snorkeling. Overnight on board or simple lodge.
Day 3: Peucang Island/Ujung Kulon (B/L/D)
Early morning cross by boat to mainland. The ride will take 15 minutes. Spend the morning looking for birds and other endemic animals. Return to the lodge for breakfast and start a trekking tour to Tanjung Layar afterwards. The peninsula is the most western point of Java. Lunch at the lodge. Visit Karang Copong at Peucang Island to watch the sunset (depending on weather).
Day 4: Peucang Island/Ujung Kulon - Carita - End of Tour Jakarta (Java) (B)
After breakfast return to Carita Beach by boat. Proceed to Jakarta by car. The round trip ends at the airport or your hotel in Jakarta.

Important information for traveler: Outside of highly touristic regions like Bali there is only a limited touristic infrastructure available. Regular flight connections, restaurants and hotels (all classes from simple to high end) are limited. Flight cancellations and delays are quite common. Please don't expect amenities like warm water, air-conditioning and even comfortable beds at all hotels and homestays during the round trip. This applies especially outside of bigger cities.
