Day 1: Begin of Tour Ambon (Molukken) - Ambon
Upon arrival at the airport of Ambon, greet and meet with a local guide then transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.
Day 2: Ambon - Banda (B/L/D)
Morning transfer to the harbour and boat transfer to Bandaneira. It will take approximately 6 hours to reach the islands 160km to the east of Ambon. On arrival start walking tour of Bandaneira town to see historic places connected to the spice trade in 16th century including the well preserved Fort Belgica. In the afternoon, visit Gunung Api Island just across Bandaneira town by boat.
Day 3: Banda (B/L/D)
Nutmeg plantation tour to Lonthoir (Banda Besar Island), visit the nutmeg and clove plantations, see nutmeg processing and visit Fort Hollandia. In the afternoon visit the nearby Pisang Island and Keraka Island for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling opportunity.
Day 4: Banda (B/L/D)
Full day excursion to the islands of Ay, Neilaka, and Run. It will take 2-3 hours to reach the most western island of the Banda Archipelago. Run was developed as an outpost of the British East India Company in 1603. After a vicious attack on Ay Island the British retreated to Run Island and stayed there under the command of Captain Nathaniel Courthope. After four years of siege he died in an attack in 1620. The British and their allies left the island. Today only a few people live in a small village on Run. The neighboring island of Neilaka is a tiny tropical island fringed by white sandy beaches and coral reefs. On the way back to Banda visit Ay Island also known for its beautiful beaches and colorful reefs. Overnight at Banda.
Day 5: Banda (B)
Breakfast at guesthouse. Today is free at your leisure. Overnight in Bandaneira.
Day 6: Banda - Ambon (B)
Morning transfer to the harbor for fastboat back to Ambon. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight in Ambon.
Day 7: Ambon - End of Tour Ambon (Molukken) (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer departure (only car without guide) to airport for your flight to next destination.

Important information for traveler: Outside of highly touristic regions like Bali there is only a limited touristic infrastructure available. Regular flight connections, restaurants and hotels (all classes from simple to high end) are limited. Flight cancellations and delays are quite common. Please don't expect amenities like warm water, air-conditioning and even comfortable beds at all hotels and homestays during the round trip. This applies especially outside of bigger cities.

Volcanism: The Sunda Islands and the Sunda Archipelago are of volcanic orgin and show high volcanic activity. Accrodingly it may be possible that tours, routings and activities (especially those involving or near volcanoes) need to be altered in case of high activity or order by the government.
