Day 1: Begin of Tour Tambaloka (Sumba) - Waikabubak (L/D)
23.02.2019: Upon arrival at the airport of Tambolaka, meet and greet with a local guide then check-in at hotel. Afternoon take a city tour to visit traditional market and villages nearby the city of Waikabubak such as: Tarung, Waitabar and Prai Ijing to see the stone graves and traditional houses of Sumbanese. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Waikabubak - Kodi - Waikabubak (B/L/D)
24.02.2019: Breakfast at 5 am at hotel and drive for about 2,5 hours to Wainyapu in Kodi area to witness the Pasola war festival along the day. Lunch box will be provided on the spot. There is also a chance to visit some traditional houses in Ratenggaro village. Late afternoon return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Waikabubak (B/L/D)
25.02.2019: After breakfast drive to Waikabubak to visit villages nearby the city such as: Tarung, Waitabar and Prai Ijing to see the stone graves and traditional houses of Sumbanese. Afternoon return to Tambolaka and visit Sumba culture centre. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Waikabubak - End of Tour Tambaloka (Sumba) (B)
26.02.2019: After breakfast at hotel transfer to the airport of Tambolaka and flight to your next destination.

Important information for traveler: Outside of highly touristic regions like Bali there is only a limited touristic infrastructure available. Regular flight connections, restaurants and hotels (all classes from simple to high end) are limited. Flight cancellations and delays are quite common. Please don't expect amenities like warm water, air-conditioning and even comfortable beds at all hotels and homestays during the round trip. This applies especially outside of bigger cities.
