Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Begin of Tour Lahad Datu (Sabah) - Danum Valley (L/D)

The drive will take approximately 2.5hrs on dirt road. Check-in at the lodge with short orientation about Lodge facilities and service. Lunch at the main lodge restaurant. Go for a nature walk afterwards. The trail includes a visit to the canopy to observe wildlife in the tretops. Return to the lodge for dinner. Lear more about the conservation area during a short slide show. If the weather permits you will be taken on a short night drive to see nocturnal animals together with the other guests (SIC, group). Overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Danum Valley (B/L/D)

Danum Valley Canopy Walk © Borneo Rainforest LodgeDanum Valley Canopy WalkBreakfast at the lodge. Your personal guide will take you on a walk to an ancient kadazandusun burial site. Enjoy the view over the Danum Valley. On the way back down stop at a natural pool for a refreshing bath. (Bring along your bathing attire.) Lunch will be served back at the lodge. Depart for a guided jungle walk along the riverside trails in the afternoon. Return to the lodge for dinner. After sunset is another opportunity to go for a walk near the lodge and see and hear different animals.

Day 3: Danum Valley - End of Tour Lahad Datu (Sabah) (B/L)

Return to the lodge for breakfast. The morining is free at your leisure. You can go for a self-guided walk around the lodge vicinity. Lunchat the restaurant. Afterwards return to Lahad Datu airport.
