Day 1: Begin of Tour Sandakan (Sabah) - Lankayan Island (D)
Meet Service at your hotel in Sandakan or after arrival at Sandakan airport. The transfer to Sandakan Post Office Jetty will take half an hour. The boat to Lankayan Island will leave at 10:00 AM. Arrival at resort 2 hrs later. The Lankayan Island Dive Resort offers accomodation in 23 wooden chalets. The seafront bungalows with en-suite bathroom are build from local materials. They are the perfect retreat for your vacation. Enjoy your private balcony overlooking the white sandy beach and turquoise colored ocean.
Day 2: Lankayan Island (B/L/D)
All meals at the resort. Today is free at your leisure. The main building is the heart of the resort. All meals are served at the restaurant. A TV room and a small shop are also part of the facilities. Water sport gears and equipments for diving, snorkeling and ocean kayaking activities are available for rental at the dive centre.
Day 3: Lankayan Island (B/L/D)
Alle meals at the resort. Today is free at your leisure. Explore the uninhabited island or stay at the white sandy beach. Head out to the sunset bar late in the afternoon for an evening get together BBQ while enjoying the panoramic view of the setting sun. Lankayan island is a macro paradise for divers. Search for tiny, juvenile fish or the bigger pelagic fish. There are sightings of whale sharks during season from March to May. Divers will appreciate the colorfull coral reefs and the four totally different wrecks home to abundant of fishes large and small.
Day 4: Lankayan Island - End of Tour Sandakan (Sabah) (B)
Checkout from resort at 06:00. The boat to Sandkan leaves at 07:00 AM. Upon arrival in Sandakan transfer to Sandakan airport. Optional visit to Sepilok rehabilitation centre.

Volcanism: The Sunda Islands and the Sunda Archipelago are of volcanic orgin and show high volcanic activity. Accrodingly it may be possible that tours, routings and activities (especially those involving or near volcanoes) need to be altered in case of high activity or order by the government.
